Join me to the Everest Base Camp!
In the lead-up to my Everest summit attempt, you are welcome to join me on the journey to Everest Base Camp in May 2026. This expedition offers a rare opportunity to experience the Himalayas up close while being part of a meaningful and carefully supported adventure.
Partnerships
I welcome new collaborations for sponsorship and brand partnerships with individuals or businesses who share a commitment to adventure, inclusivity and expanding access in the outdoors.
For more details, you can view my sponsorship proposal. If you are interested in working together to support the final stages of this mission, please get in touch via info@DeafBlindEverestProject.com

Research
Several research initiatives are already underway alongside this project, exploring how mountaineering, accessibility and immersive storytelling can intersect in new ways. These collaborations aim to expand inclusion in extreme environments while contributing to broader advances in technology, communication and representation.
Research and Innovation projects in progress:
Multi-Sensory Documentary: The documentary aims to raise awareness and enhance representation of the DeafBlind community. By capturing how I, as a DeafBlind climber, experience the world - both visually and audibly - we can foster empathy and promote inclusivity.
Beyond disability representation, this multi-sensory approach has the potential to engage a wider audience, as few people will ever have the opportunity to summit Everest. By creating a documentary that closely mimics the real adventure with enhanced audio, tactile elements and immersive visual storytelling, we can offer viewers an unparalleled, immersive experience - allowing them to virtually embark on this extraordinary journey. This has the potential to be engaging for sighted, hearing, deaf, blind and deafblind audiences alike.
Haptic Accessibility Tool: A durable haptic wearable has been prototyped to support my independence and efficiency as a DeafBlind climber. This wearable explores how haptic feedback can convey critical information such as navigation cues and support team communication, contributing to safer and more accessible movement in high-altitude environments.
High Altitude Training: In collaboration with HPOTech, we are investigating altitude-training protocols using the Apex hyporbaric chamber. This work focuses on how altitude exposure, recovery and training load can be optimised and monitored to support performance and safety in high-altitude mountaineering.
I welcome researchers, designers, technologists and organisations working in accessibility, haptics, human–computer interaction, immersive media or extreme-environment research to join the team. These projects are already in progress and collaboration at this stage can play a meaningful role in shaping their outcomes.
