Join me for a shared journey to Everest Base Camp ahead of my Everest summit attempt!
Ahead of my Everest summit attempt, I am planning a shared journey to Everest Base Camp. While details are still being finalised, this trek is expected to take place in May 2026 (TBC).
Join me on the approach to Everest, with a chance to experience the Himalayas as part of a wider expedition narrative. The Everest Base Camp route passes through the Khumbu region of Nepal, travelling through remote villages, monasteries, suspension bridges, and glacial valleys, with views of iconic peaks including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam. The trek is expected to last approximately 12 days and is suitable for those seeking a high-altitude trekking challenge within a carefully supported and purpose-driven journey.
This expedition also aims to be inclusive and community-focused. Where possible, I hope to walk alongside deafblind locals from Nepal, highlighting access, representation and human connection in the mountains.
The estimated cost is £3,000 (subject to confirmation). This is expected to cover core expedition logistics and support the involvement of local deafblind individuals where possible.
At this stage, I am inviting expressions of interest only. Further information, including the itinerary, application process and participant requirements, will be shared once plans are finalised.
If you would like to register your interest, explore whether this journey might be right for you, or ask any questions, please email info@DeafBlindEverestProject.com or fill the form below.
