Supporting my mission

Summiting Everest is no easy feat, and it comes with significant costs. I have outlined a series of training milestones with approximate costs below:

As a DeafBlind individual, I will need a dedicated support team, which means the expenses could be more than double. Additionally, there are other essential needs such as mountaineering clothing, gear, and travel expenses. Therefore, I am hoping to fundraise at least £100,000 for myself and my assistance team to make this mission a reality.

Will you join me in reaching my next fundraising goal of £5,000 for the upcoming Aconcagua summit climb scheduled for November 2024, transforming this ambitious vision into a reality?

Huge thanks to the supporters:

  • Suited & Booted Originals for transforming my idea into a project

  • TONIQ for the membership and comprehensive personal training support

  • Passenger Clothing for the generous donation

  • The Arc for providing the Climbing Academy package

  • Hylo Athletics for supplying some running shoes

  • Precision Fuel & Hydration for the fuelling products and crafting a personalised hydration strategy

  • Millimetres 2 Mountains Foundation for the beneficiary package and the development programme

  • The Douglas Bader Foundation for the Bader grant to cover expedition costs as part of the training for the Everest summit

  • John Muir Trust for the Des Rubens and Bill Wallace grant to cover the costs of an ice climbing course in Scotland
