Touching the Summit: with an impact
Adventure Ambassador
I am grateful to be supported by Ellis Brigham as an athlete and adventure ambassador. Through real-world use of their equipment in demanding environments, I share insights from training and expedition life while highlighting accessibility and inclusion in outdoor adventure. As a DeafBlind climber, I also promote safe and responsible mountaineering by demonstrating practical approaches to preparation, risk awareness and decision-making in the mountains - from kit choices and layering systems to pacing, communication and rest.
Supporting DeafBlind Community in Nepal
I spent time hiking and indoor wall climbing with deafblind locals, creating bonds over our shared experiences. These moments underscored the strength, sense of togetherness and incredible potential within the community when provided with the right support and opportunities. Building on these connections, I am dedicated to raising funds to empower deafblind locals by enabling access to transformative experiences, such as training and gear for climbing and inclusive adventures like Everest Base Camp trek. Together, we can nurture confidence, inclusivity and representation for deafblind individuals in Nepal and beyond, inspiring future generations to break barriers and redefine what is achievable.
Charity Ambassador
As an ambassador for Sporting Family Change, I am honoured to be part of a movement that is actively fostering positive transformations in Bath and North-East Somerset communities. We leverage the power of sports to empower, inspire and motivate local families, encouraging them to raise their aspirations and embrace lasting lifestyle changes.

Many thanks to the following brands for their contribution and aiding our fundraising efforts:
Inspired by my volunteering trip in 2018 at a deaf school in Nepal and witnessing the urgent need for safe water, I partnered with Frank Water to address this issue. With the generous support from individuals and communities, we achieved our fundraising target, raising £300. This contribution will ensure safe water and improved sanitation for at least 20 people. Completing my first half marathon in 2.27 hours, with the support of Sammar by my side, was a testament to our collective efforts and determination.
Fundraising
In 2024, I was one of three participants in Berghaus Adapts, an initiative focused on improving accessibility through tailored kit adaptations. As a DeafBlind climber, I shard ideas and insights on practical changes, including noise-reducing hood linings, sensory orientation markers and high-visibility elements to support safer, more inclusive mountaineering.
